High fever and allergy since one day
Hi,my son age is 3yr 5months since one day he is suffering high fever I already gave medicine for 5hrs acetaminophen syrup and also he is having some allergy I already gave citizen syrup but fever is not control present in my area covid is very high so I can't take him to hospital shall I continue this medicines or shall I take him to hospital please give me reply nd suggestions present I'm living in small village.

Given that you are in a high COVID area and if your child has very high fever with rashes... if you are not sure of allergy please atleast consult online immediately. Rashes and fever can be the presentation of multisystem inflammation seen in children as a result of COVID

Hi, you can give paracetamol for fever every 5 to 6 hours...if child is playful between fever then wait for 2 days...id child is weak or irritable then consult doctor.

Give him acetaminophen 5 ml every 6 hourly wait for one day.. if he is taking feeds and is active then it's ok.. if fever still persists after 3 days then consult dr physically.
