High fever 105 degree
My child is suffering from high fever for last 2days. We gave him Crocin suspension 5ml for 5-6 times, when temperature shoot up, 102.deg.
After contacting doctor he prescribed TAXIM-O Forte two times daily. We started giving him the same.
Today in the afternoon the temperature suddenly shoot up to 105 and we gave him IBUGESIC PLUS after contacting doctor. Temperature got down immediately to 100. But after six hours now, temp again went up to 103 and we gave him Crocin. Kindly suggest how to diagnose and suggest how to handle in case of emergency at night

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
For fever of 103 and above,use syp meftal-p,and sponge bath the child.
If above symptoms are present,consult your paediatrician asap.
