High ESR level with fever and fatigue

Asked for Female, 67 Years

I have been detected with very high ESR label of 70 in my blood...I am a female with 67 years of age and lately been suffering with chronic cough from last six years. The cough was finally detected as AC ARB cough due to the sideeffect of a blood pressure medicine called Ripace. The cough has become ok but now I have 99-102 fever at all times and lots of fatigue in my body. There are no other symptom or ailment.

Repace is Losartan. It does not cause much of prolonged cough. So The cough which you have, alongwith low grade fever, high ESR may be indication of any chronic illness like TB, sarcoidosis.

Next Steps

Visit a chest physician with Chest X ray PA view to rule out any underlying Chest problem.
