High dose of steriod
I was covid postive 36 days. Back. And i was on methylpredinole for 2.weeks. At home isolation. .medrol 12 mg bd... There is horrifying news of. Black fungus. Does this does count in high and prolonged dose of Steriod. I dont have diabetes or any other disease history. Can i catch this fungus?

Usually mucromycosis (black fungus) occurs in patients who are immunocopramised, or on long term therapy with steroids, Diabetic and other factors. Though chances of getting contracted with fungus is very leas in your case, but do take neccessary precautions.
