Hi Doctor,
My mother is 62 years old and has a history of both high blood pressure and diabetes. About six months ago, we discontinued her BP medication as the doctor advised it was no longer necessary due to stable readings. However, she has been continuing her diabetes medication as prescribed.
Today, she suddenly experienced vomiting and dizziness. We checked her blood pressure, and it was 165/98. We tried to locate the BP tablets she used previously, but unfortunately, we have misplaced both the prescription and the medication packaging.
Could you please advise on the appropriate BP medication for her?
