Hi. My father is 64 yrs old and he is having high BP. Guess he is having high BP from many years. Recently he underwent cataract operation his doctor before operating diagnosed his high BP and general physician who did his pre operating test advised him nexovas 10 mg tablet. Usually his BP was in 160-150/110-100 range. Later after taking medication for almost one month his BP came down and was in 130/90 range. But again from past week even after taking medicine his BP is keeping high. Now presently his BP is in 150/100 range regularly. He is having Nexovas 10 mg tablet. Am concerned about him. Pl advice which specialist should I take him for consultation. And also wat is ideal BP for his age
