I had a minor disc bulge diagnosis in May 2014. In order to overcome the pain that came out of this, I started yoga and over a period of time moved over to regular workouts at a gym. My back ache has reduced immensely but even now, occasionally, a niggle or two springs up. This is mainly in the left SI joint.

This is common
Disc bulge is often bothersome from time to time
You should start core strengthening exercises and you should emphasise more on preventive methods - as in things which you are not suppose to do, like heavy wt lifting , forward bending, awkward postures etc
