High ALP cause?
Need to know the reason of high ALP? I have been diagnosed with 4.1mm gallstone and earlier reports are as follows- Total bilirubin - 7.62 mg/dl SGPT - 499 IU/L SGOT - 170 IU/L ALP - 111 IU/L I started the treatment and today again tested for the same and todays results are as follows- Total bilirubin - 4.82 mg/dl SGPT - 162 IU/L SGOT - 103 IU/L ALP - 257 IU/L Everything seems to come back to normal except ALP is increasing. What could be the reason behind this?

There might be stones in CBD which could be the reason for the raise in your ALP level although rest of the enzymes are decreasing. It happens with mixed raise and increase in the level of enzymes. Have you done any Ultrasound abdomen or MRCP? Kindly repeat an LFT again to see the trend.
Next Steps
ultrasound abdomen, repeat LFT, MRCP
