Hi Dear Doctor's eating Almonds daily
Eating 8-10 almonds a day is gud for health decreases cholesterol or it increases cholesterol level? Plz reply how much almonds should we eat daily? As i have total cholesterol - 240, LDL - 162 & Tryglcerides 160.. can i continue eating 9-10 almonds a day?

Hi You can eat and add 2 walnuts as well which will give you omega-3 . Include high fiber food . Reduce you oil intake ,consume meals which will have no oil or very less oil. Go for a brisk walk for about 40mins in adays .

Eating almonds stabilises the fat content. Particularly if u want to reduce ur cholesterol level u must have a planned diet. Eat plenty of vegetables,fruits and greengram sprouts. Drink enough water Physical activities,excercise,yoga will reduce your cholesterol levels  to some extent. Millets are good substitute for rice/ wheat as a staple food.
