Herpes Zoster
Hi Doctor My mother had symptoms of eye infection (teary eyes, swelling) & after 3 days she developed skin rashes in fore head, so we consulted with a physician he diagnosed she's having herpes zoster. He prescribed antiviral drugs & said it'll take 2 to 4 weeks to heal. Now she's having pain in eyes & forehead. Literally she's is not opening the infected eye. Please suggest what we need to do? Do we need to wait & continue the medication? We are staying in a town & I'm very concerned about her condition.
