Hi doctors
I'm 24 yr old male. Never smoked. Never had alcohol. Did a routine testing in the year 2020 and found out haemoglobin was 18. Had no symptoms. Went to KEM hospital and they ordered phlebotomy thrice a week once. Post that after one month, again blood checkup ordered. Haemoglobin which had reduced to 14.7 post 3 phelobotomy had increased to 17. Doctor's ordered jak2 testing and epo level test. Jak2 test was negative and showed no findings. Epo levels were under limit - 11mIU/mL. Therefore, Bone marrow aspiration/biopsy ordered. One was tested in kem hospital and other was sent for Next generation sequencing for hematolymphoid malignancies (227 gene panel). Even there, both the tests showed no clinical findings. The tests showed negative for any pathogenic fusion. Is CYTOGENIC testing required to check for MPNs if next generation sequencing has shown no findings. Should I worry about this?
Is this the vaccine side effect?
