I went to the ER for a sore throat and ear infection. I couldn’t hear out of my left ear. they prescribed me a neomycin/polymixin/hc ear drop and amoxicillin. it’s about 5 days later and all symptoms are gone except for my hearing loss/clogged left ear and it is ringing constantly.

You seem to have suffered from acute suppurative otitis media which is a common type of acute Middle ear infection for which appropriate treatment was given. Usually upto 2 weeks after treatment of this infection you will have slight blocking sensation in the ear which is not really abnormal. No specific treatment is required
