What is the normal frequency of human voice ...I'm having low frequency hearing loss frm 20hz to 280hz..I have difficulty understanding speech ..and 25db loss from 280 to 6000hz...can I get benefit from hearing aid

Hi, You must have undergone pure tone Audiometry test, a conventional Audiometry test assesses your hearing at afrequency range of 125 hz to 8000 hz. And for speech understanding generally out levels should be within normal limits which is around 20dBHL across tested frequencies. Thus I would suggest you to share your audiogram report and consult and Audiologist. Then only we can decide upon whether hearing aids would be beneficial.
