I work with an US IT consulting firm hence I work night shifts. I have joined a gym and lost 3 kgs in 2 weeks. Working hard to lose 15 kgs. Please suggest what kinds of food should I eat when at work. I have stopped drinking cold drinks, pizza, fried food and sweets already.

Working night shifts affects our natural sleep pattern and hence alters our metabolism. Alongwith that,long sitting hours and eating junk food totally makes our system go haywire. It might take a while to lose weight but don't lose hope.
Take some healthy snacks with you - nuts,makhane, sprouts,fruit etc. Keep healthy drink options too like nimbu Pani, coconut water,green tea,chhach etc to avoid colas and caffeine . Try to sleep for 6-7 hours at a stretch.

There is no specific food that leads to weight loss hence a structured customised routine is what is required.

You will have to keep a digital weighing scale at your place and I’ll remind you to tell me your weight on empty stomach in the morning after every 10 days. We compare the progress after every 10 days of plan and I change the next plan accordingly.
