Asked for Male, 22 Years

I am 22 years old. I have HTN. I take nebicard tablet daily. Recently I have started to take Abbott ENSURE drink. But my BP is becoming high. Can It cause high BP. Also any other side effects it can cause? Should I continue it or leave it.

Get your hypertension reviewed. You may need dose adjustments or different anti-hypertensives if your BP is high. You can take Ensure drink. That's not the cause of high BP. Adv- Blood pressure monitoring/ charting Reduce salt intake Avoid alcohol/ cigarette Walk 30 mins 5 days a week Avoid stress- try yoga/meditation. Maintain body weight. Your BMI is 28.8 which is on the higher side.
