Headaches
My 13-year-old daughter has been experiencing frequent headaches, particularly on school days. Interestingly, these headaches don’t seem to occur when she’s at home; she feels perfectly fine then. I’m concerned and wondering if this is common among teenagers..Are headaches like these normal for teenagers?

Frequent headaches in teenagers, especially those triggered by specific situations like school, can be common but shouldn’t be ignored. It’s important to identify potential causes and address them.
Next Steps
If lifestyle adjustments don’t help or if the headaches persist, please consult. A medical evaluation can rule out underlying conditions.
Health Tips
Ensure a Healthy Lifestyle by Encouraging proper hydration, balanced meals, and regular physical activity. Establish a consistent sleep schedule (at least 8–10 hours per night). Manage Stress: Discuss school-related worries and teach relaxation techniques like deep breathing or mindfulness.

This doesn't seem to be an entirely medical problem. It may have psychological overtones. It is better to consult a General Physician and if required he will refer the patient to a Neurologist or a Psychiatrist.
