In head injury most important is height of fall, age. You need to look for danger signs like 3 or more vomiting or seizure or loss of consciousness or abnormal activity , excessive lethargy, visible bruising You need to observe the child for 72hrs Meanwhile continue cold compression and you can show child in person to pediatrician

After a head injury, you should watch carefully for danger signs that may indicate a more serious problem. These include repeated vomiting (more than 2–3 times), excessive sleepiness or difficulty in waking the child, any episode of loss of consciousness, seizures or abnormal movements, persistent severe headache or continuous inconsolable crying, abnormal behavior such as confusion or not recognizing parents, unsteady walking or weakness in limbs, bleeding or fluid from the nose or ears, unequal pupils or abnormal eye movements, and a swelling that is rapidly increasing or very tense. If any of these are present, immediate pediatric or emergency evaluation is required. For treatment in a mild case, continue cold compress for the first 24–48 hours (10–15 minutes, 3–4 times/day) followed by warm compress thereafter. For pain, Paracetamol (10–15 mg/kg/dose) can be given as an over-the-counter medication. Avoid massage or pressure over the swelling. No other medicines are required routinely; stronger medications or further treatment should be taken only after pediatrician advice.
