first check if hba1c is done by HPLC method, otherwise it may be faulty, abnormal fasting glucose- may also be seen if you had a late dinner. recheck your hba1c after 3 months if your fasting levels are constantly above 100,and hba1c above 5.6, then you will fall under prediabetic range.
