HAVING GUM BLEEDING
I have been suffering from gum bleeding for last 3-4 months. Earlier it was normal bleeding but today When I woke up found that my dental area was almost full of blood. When I checked I felt that from one particular gum area continuous bleeding was happening. Please guide as it is still still going on how to stop immediately.

Usually severe gingivitis or periodontitis can cause bleeding. A picture would have helped to analyze better. Also, you can expect bleeding gum when there are less platelet counts or if you are on blood thinners/ anticoagulants.

First go for normal scaling (cleaning) procedure. This should have happen due to plaque and calculus , this causes inflammation of gums. Start using betadine gargles.

When did you last go for scaling and polishing. Due to poor oral hygiene!! Online over counter products will not help ,go for scaling and polishing.

If u have lot of calculus deposition,deep scaling may not be enough,bleeding may occur,consult your dental doctor and take xray,if the problem is severe,they will suggest flap surgery .
