Swelling discomfort in anal area is due to piles. Discomfort could also be due to very hard stool causing irritation in anal area.  Avoid sitting for a long time in the toilet or applying more pressure while passing the stool. Sit in a hot water tub for 10-15minutes twice daily. Add fruits and fibers to your diet.
