Hand pain and tingling

Asked for Female, 23 Years

I got a laceration on my left inner palm its located about a finger nail length from both middle and center of my hand. Ever since i got it my thumb down to my wrist has been extra sore n tingly. What could i do to relieve the pain n proper ways to care for the laceration. A lady at the scene where it occured was a nurse n told me to get it stitched. Unfortunately no insurance.
