Hallucination
My mother is 75yrs old n is paralyzed for last 7yrs. Her BP, sugar is normal. Now she's complete bed ridden not much moment at all except for sitting for few hours. since last 1 month she is hallucinating. She talks to herself she's fighting all time. she hits her leg n slap herself. Upon advice from one of the family Dr I'm giving her tablet zopicon Evey night. Initial few days she was fine now it's like 1 day n that night she is calm, normal next day early morning she starts hallucinating n goes on for 2days. She has become extreme violent hurting herself, screaming loud n restless... Dr said her health is deteriorating so just let her leave to herself spend time... But thr has to b some way to keep her calm n stop hurting herself. Any tests n medication??? Due to my personal reasons im not able to take her for proper checkup to hospital alone. Looking for online consultation for basic treatment that can b done from home n i will get all required tests done. want her to b normal.

Sorry to hear about the condition of your mother. Old age comes with loads of problems : they may be in the form of medical complications, neurological or psychiatric disorders . It appears that that paralysis could have been because of some neurological problems and I am sure Radiological examined like MRI would have been done. Also detailed Medical tests must have been done.Hallucinations are not disorders by themselves but as a result of some other underlying disorders . There for details of the history:Medical,Neurological or Psychiatric evaluation is definitely needed as soon as possible.
Next Steps
Some of the symptoms can be controlled to some extent but a help of a mental health professional is definitely needed.Drugs should be taken under supervision of a professional.
Health Tips
Online consultation is available now a days but as mentioned above…detailed history and investigations are to be done.Zoplcon may help in the problems of sleep but she she will definitely need drugs as per diagnosis of her case. Early intervention is always recommended.
