Hairfall problem
I have hairfall problem. I wash my hair once a week. I am using Garnier shampoo long & strong from last 2 years but now I switched to Dove intense repair shampoo from last 1 mnth. My hairs r very week as when I wash my hair, there are so many hair after washing in the washroom. When I Comb my hair, hair will fall so much. Now my hairs are very thin. I m using heena after 15 days as I have grey hairs since my childhood. I comb my hair once a day & using coconut oil at night before washing nxt day

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
