Hairfall and scalp dandruff
Dear Doctor,
My mom, 56 yrs, is having extreme hairloss from top centre of head with extreme scaly, patchy dandruff. The area has turned almost bald and white powder patch is seen. Her hair greying has also increased. Please let us know a remedy for this.

Hairfall can be because of many reasons like hormonal changes, vitamin deficiencies, stress etc which need to evaluated and treated accordingly. Hair greying is normal at this age . Patchy area looks like seborrhoic dermatitis which can be treated with topical medication
