Hairfall and flaky scalp after head wash
I am a 27 Year-old experiencing hair loss for the past five years, particularly in the crown region, where I have lost a significant amount of hair. I would like to understand the exact cause of my hair loss and the steps I should take to identify it. Can a dermatologist accurately diagnose the root cause of hair fall? Additionally, I have a dry scalp condition that persists despite my efforts. After washing my hair, my scalp becomes extremely dry, with visible flakes. While the flaking subsides a few hours after washing, it reappears every time I wash my hair, regardless of whether I apply oil beforehand or not. How can I address this recurring issue?

It follows a specific pattern of hair loss, often beginning with a receding hairline and thinning at the crown. Symptoms: 1. Receding hairline 2. Thinning at the crown 3. Gradual hair loss, leading to baldness Causes: 1. Genetic factors 2. Hormonal changes, specifically the influence of DHT 3. Age-related factors Preventive Measures: 1. Early intervention with medications 2. Regular check-ups with a healthcare professional Considerations: Consult with a dermatologist or healthcare professional to determine the most suitable treatment based on individual health and factors contributing to hair loss. It's important to note that not all individuals experience the same progression of male pattern baldness, and treatment effectiveness can vary. Early intervention often yields better results.

Hairfall can be due to different reasons. Finding out the cause is very important. Treatment will include the treatment of underlying cause and hairfall. You will be advised blood tests also to rule out any vitamin deficiency or any other parameters causing hairfall. Medical examination of the scalp and history is also very impoimportant. Please consult online or visit a dermatologist for better assessment.
