Hair transplant or PRP
In 2 years my hairline receded to a certain degree and patches started to become visible in the crown. I went to the dermatologist and he told me to use minodoxil and finastride, but this is not a permanent solution. The doctor advised me to not take up transplant and rather follow the medications. Can the transplant be done on just hairline and crown area. I am at grade 2 or 3 right now. Should I just follow the medication or look for a solution like Prp or transplant?

Hello, hair transplantation can be done for any area and as long as you maintain with medicines and PRP, you will have good results. In your case, even if you do opt for hair transplant now, you will still be required to maintain the transplanted hair with minoxidil, finasteride and PRP. Without these, the transplants will fall off in a year, leaving you where you started. Moreover, if you start with the medicines and PRP, your hair density will improve and fewer hair follicles will be required to be transplanted, thereby reducing the cost of the procedure. If you improve a lot on the medicines, you may not even require a hair transplantation.
