Hair loss on leg

Hi, I recently notice a patch just under my knee which no hair is growing. The area feels dry and slightly rough to the touch and looks slightly red compared to the surrounding skin. I don't feel any irritaion or itching. I work twice a week, which involves me kneeling down on that knee frequently, and was wondering if this could be a possible cause. Thank you :)
