Hair loss and dandruff

I'm losing my hair at a rapid pace from the top of my hear and the frontal hairline. I also have a lot of dandruff. Currently I'm trying an anti-dandruff shampoo and it seems to be working for me, but I want to regrow my hair as well. For this I'm using castor oil mixed with coconut oil to massage my hair twice a week. Should I continue this?
