Itching on scalp may be related to bacterial follicultis.
Acne and hairfall can sometime come together and the management becomes even difficult as we have to deal with two issues.
âAcne treatment has multiple stages - to control new breakouts, to clear the sequalae (pigmentation and scars) and to prevent a relapse.
If you have active acne lesions, it should be controlled on priority basis.
Ask your dermatologist to prescribe a antibiotic course for scalp and hair strengthening shampoos and supplements. If the problem still persists, specific drugs can be started
