Hair fall in new born

Asked for Female, 27 Years

My boy baby is 42 days old now. He has got some nice hair during birth. But suddenly in d past 15 days I could see a drastic hair fall in d front side. Back hair remains normal. Now he is Almost bald in d front side. I'm breast feeding him. Is the hair fall normal?? Also please tell shall we apply coconut oil for the baby??
