Dandruff is dry or wet. Please consult a dermatologist in person for best treatment. It can be controlled. Can recur so maintenance is essential which is usually medicated shampoo

Dandruff is one of main reason for hair fall. It is a controllable cause.
Next Steps
you need to change your shampoo. Better take a direct consultation with images if possible. It may mimic psoriasis also.
