Physical damage to hair can happen  by sunlight, vigorous shampooing , straightening of your hairs,..excessive combing.,  hair gel for styling puposes...all this to be avoided. Regular shampooing with mild shampoos, good  protien diet, preferably shorter hairs (easy to manage ),if longer hairs means nourishing conditioner...will help. Shaving the hair and shortening of hairs wont make any difference. Hair serum like x-gain serum  after headbath before going out will give you protection from the sun &dust. Choose the shampoos like Hair 4 u  or  Triclenz shampoo as daily purpose.
