Hair and skin problem
Hi, I am getting married in 4months, and I am really worried about my hair and skin. Especially hair. My hair texture is very fine, and my hairs are receding in side temple which is worrying me alot, my hair started turning grey since I was 15, but that is fine by me, but receding hairline in temple is my main concern. I have oily skin and often results in acne and acne scars. Please advise me what I need to do for my hair and skin, especially Hair :( :(

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin. Moreover, you should never self treat with anything. Please call me or send photographs using online consult option for proper diagnosis and detailed prescription,

Hair loss is a progressive problem and if not tackled in time tends to keep worsening over time. There are various causes of hair fall. Read my health feed for a better detailed understanding. https://fit.practo.com/#!/content/28405 After reading this I hope you will be convinced that a proper thorough examination of your scalp from a qualified dermatologist will be advisable for a fruitful outcome. There are various treatment options available for improving hair loss- apart from medical management other supplemental procedures like microneddling and PRP which can be used to achieve good results. Also transplant is a surgical procedure and should be done by qualified expert. there r many chains run by quacks so don't get misled in an attempt to save money on procedure as hair transplant is a one time option and need to be done effectively. When you mention about the scars do you mean the dark marks OR the depressions in the skin surface which occur when big acne pimples heal. For the treatment of the pigmentation marks creams can be used. For the treatment of the depressed scars procedures are required to get an improvement. There are options like hyaluronic acid filler or subdermal fat transplant which can be done for the holes if they are slightly bigger. But the very tiny depressed scars would require either laser treatment or micro needling. For the black marks you can try applying kojic cream for a month which will decrease the pigmentation on the marks. But for the holes some kind of procedural intervention definitely be needed. Get an online consult privately with pictures or meet a dermatologist directly for a proper evaluation of the condition. Hope this was helpful.
