Based on your description, this appears to be early-stage unilateral gynecomastia, which is quite common in young males and usually presents as a small, soft, mildly tender lump beneath or around the nipple. Since it is only 40 days old, there is a good chance that it may regress on its own, especially if it is hormonally driven or related to transient imbalance. Pain and mild inflammation are typical in the early proliferative phase.
Next Steps
Kindly get yourself examined by a physician or surgeon. At this stage, conservative management is preferred. You should avoid any substances that can worsen gynecomastia such as anabolic supplements, excessive alcohol, cannabis, or medications that affect hormones. Maintain a healthy weight and regular exercise routine. For symptomatic relief of pain, you can take Tab Paracetamol 500 mg as needed. In selected cases with persistent pain or progression, medical therapy like Tab Tamoxifen 10 mg once daily for 4–6 weeks may be considered under supervision, as it helps reduce glandular tissue in early stages. If the lump increases in size, becomes hard, fixed, associated with nipple discharge, or persists beyond 3–6 months, further evaluation with ultrasound and hormonal profile (testosterone, estradiol, prolactin) is advised. Surgical management is reserved for long-standing or non-resolving cases.
