As said this is for my 4 yr girl child. She has gum swelling over top center tooth from past two weeks. Tooth root looks clear as shown in the x-ray. But keep Triggering each time she eats solid. Had fever for two days thou now its down . How to reverse the situation to stop swelling ? what is the cause ?

Depending on how much root is there, the dentist will suggest removal of the tooth or a root cleaning followed by placement of a medicine within the root canals (pulpectomy), along with prescription of antibiotic and an analgesic.
