Absolutely. He should. There are no hindrances for getting vaccinated if anyone is on Aspirin.
And Covaxin or Covishield are equally effective. Get any one of them. Works equally fine. Just remember to take the second dose of the same vaccine after 8-12 weeks.

He can take any of the two
They only differ in efficacy to a very small extend
Make sure he has no fever , any drug allergies , not received any other vaccine recently , not recovered from covid recently

Both vaccines are same. There have not been enough scientific studies to discriminate between them. You can get either vaccine for your father
