Greying of 3.5 yr old baby girl teeth
My baby girl front teeth is turning grey. She had fell on her face and had hurt her teeth. Its shown after 15 days. There is no pain in her teeth and she is quiet normal. I consulted a pedodontist and he has suggested pulpectomy. I just wanted to ask , Is pulpectomy really required for the kid..or can the teeth be left on its own untouched , so that it comes out (falls) naturally?

Yes definitely pulpectomy should be done . Like I deduce your child is 4 year old and these teeth will remain at least for next 3-3.5 years . Grey colour of the teeth means the said teeth and it’s nerve (pulp of the tooth ) have got involved while the child fell off .. infection shows in due course .. like u said it turned grey in 15 days .. next symptom of either pain or swelling just above that tooth. In all this process of infection it might pose a difficulty for the permanent dentition .. thus pulpectomy is definitely recommended and crown placement if necessary. It will be rather painless at this point of time as the tooth is lifeless..

Pulpectomy is required as the teeth has discoloured, it means it might have turned non vital or in simple terms lifeless.with  time it will be infected and this infection can hamper the growth of permanent teeth which lies just beneath it. I would suggest you to go for the pulpectomy procedure..
