Hi.. No. Of stools and consistency of the stools is important, not jst the color. If passing liquid or watery stools there may be problem. Kindly consult online or offline if such problem is there. Sometimes greenish stools may be because of inadequate feeding or may be because of any antibiotics using for the baby..

The baby is thriving well on breastfeeds.Since there is altered stools, the baby can have acute gastrointestinal infection . Watch for number of stools, blood or mucus in stools, adequate urine output of 6 to 8 times per day, alert or dull. Continue breast feeds, can give paediatric ORS , zinc drops 1 ml per day. If the baby is dull or not voiding urine properly or develops fever or blood in stools contact a paediatrician immediately
Next Steps
Paediatric ORS to be mixed with 200 ml water and to be given as 60 ml after each loose stool
Health Tips
