Green  poop of a one month old baby
Hi doctor, I'm a lactating mother of a 45 day old baby. Last week he took a 6th week of vaccination. I'm breastfeeding him and on top giving formula milk( 60-90 ml) only at night. For 2-3 days he is passing a greenish poop after each feed. Is it normal ? Is there any cause of concern? Please suggest.

Until baby completes First 6 months only mother’s milk to be given . And giving breast feed at night also helps to maintain the hormones responsible for milk production and ejection. Poop is normal. Dont worry. Formula feed is advised only when mother doesn’t have enough breast milk

Avoid bottle feeding, as it is source of infection and can cause infection, also some baby's may have cow milk protein allergy
