1) Fistulectomy done 34 days ago.
2) As per Fistulogram (MRI Report) it was Grade I simple intersphincteric peri-anal fistula at 6 'O Clock position of 3.2 cm long.
3) Biopsy Report says Granulomatous Inflammation.
4) I was on antibiotics for 5 days and pain killer for 3 days after my discharge from Hospital on the 3rd day from surgery.
5) Till now, I taking Sitz bath and applying a tropical ointment on the site locally regularly as directed in the follow up visit.
BUT,
I) Draining has not stopped still now though rate is reduced to some extent.
II) Cannot sit comfortably till now because of mild pain in the fistula site.
III) I am on leave for the last five weeks.
IV) On follow up after two weeks doctor said, wound will heal, nothing to worry.
Please Suggest.
a) For Granulomatous Inflammation should I see any other doctor, as the treating doctor did not say anything about it.? I am very much worried about it.
b) What should I do now? Should I join my duty?

First of all fistula in ano always have high chance of recurrence.
Fistula takes time to heal
Anybody should go surgery with faithful doctor. I mean if you have gone for operation than should have confidence on your doctor.
Fistula track histopathology should have for future management of disease.

The fistulectomy wound takes time to heal though 34 days seems to be quite a long span
Granulomatous inflammation in fistula in ano can either be because of crohn's disease, tuberculosis or actinomycosis. These might be the probable causes which may cause delay of healing of the site
You can join your duty if the pain and discharge is not bothersome .
Next Steps
consult a GI surgeon for further work up of the causes that I have mentioned above
