Granular pharyngitis since 1 year
Sir i have granular pharyngitis..when i examine my posterior pharyngeal wall by tongue depresser there are 9 hypertrophied follicle..i took laryngopharyngel refulx drug as well(domeperidone plus pentaprazole).but relief is transient by it.. symptoms like globus pharyngitis..frequemt throat cleansing are back when i stopeed medication..is betadine gargle safe?..what is complications of granular pharyngitis..pls answer

Granular pharyngitis is just a chronic throat infection secondary to sinusitis or GERD. There are no complications as such.. But those hypertrophic follicles will remain and may or may not reduce.. They won't cause any problems.. Unless it's troubling you constantly do not opt for any medications.. Lifestyle change to prevent Gerd will be better than taking medication

Granular pharyngitis is just a throat infection.. Take Tab sinarest lp half tablet twice a day Tab pantop dsr twice a day Syp mucaine gel 3 TSF thrice a day Drink lot of water Stop spicy food
