Grade ii hydronephrosis
My one month baby boy went for ultrasound, and they mentioned, Grade ii hydronephrosis seen. Intra renal mildly dilated pelvis seen with trans pelvic diameter measuring 16mm(TPD). cortical thickness measuring 5 mm.. Do i need to worry on it.

he needs a DTPA Renogram to rule out pelviureteric junction obstruction, if the same problem is seen on both sides, then voiding cystourethrogram is required, these can be done when he is around 3 months or earlier if he has repeatedly fever and failure to thrive
