Glucose pp is high
My father is 55 years old.he has blood sugar since 3 years.he checks up blood sugar in interval of 3 months.he last done his test on January  when his blood sugar level fasting was 80 mg/ DL and PP was 106.doctor previously prescribed jalra/ galvus 50 mg.but in January doctor prescribed vilsure 50 mg.now his blood sugar range is glucose pp 226 mg/ DL and fasting is 108 mg/ do.now we are very tensed.plz suggest me something and what's the reason behind this?

Hello.. Your father's blood sugar was absolutely normal in January and now his post Prandial is out of range,though fasting is normal.... This could be related to change in brand of medicine or other factors like diet, stress,or  progression of diabetes stage...!! Plz don't worry but need to consult Endocrinologist for modifying your prescription...!! Selective increase in post Prandial could be related to high carb diet, so modify diet high protein and low carb... Eat small frequent meals....
