Gestational Diabetes
Hi, My wife is 6 + months pregnant and diagnosed with Gestational diabetes by her gynecologist. Her fasting blood sugar is fluctuating. Like sometimes it is 84-90 or sometimes 100-104. I just wanted to know, is it normal during pregnancy? Even if it's 100 or little more also we need to worry or its close to normal. Please suggest your views. Regards, Sampad

If her fasting sugars are going to those levels, she needs to manage sugars appropriately. What about her post meal values? I suggest you must make a record of sugar values and review in clinic for advise.
