Gestation Week and Actual Pregnancy week
Hello
my wife is 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant as per last menstrual cycle, LMP 18 sep 2024.
But when we had the colour Doppler test this week, in the report it says gestational age as 35 weeks.
Fetal weight is appr 2488 grams +- 366
and we are planning for delivery in the next 4 days,
What might be the reason for the difference in weeks and will there be any concern situation if we go for delivery by Jun 9th 2025?

There can be a slight difference in the gestational age as ultrasound calculations work over percentiles. A 2 week difference at 3rd trimester is of not much concern.

The reason for the discrepancy could be
intrauterine growth restriction
Or incorrect dating
More details of Ultrasound findings are required
Delivery should be done after 37 completed weeks to prevent the baby from admission in nicu
