Genital hygiene
Hi Doctor, i asked a query here and many of you replied to not use dettol soap in sensitive areas like butt, inter thigh, groin etc as it causing me itching and dryness. Now my question is actually i get more sweating in summer in these areas then how should i clean it? Just plain water may not help in removing dryness & sweating smell. Sorry to told you i am very much new in this skin knowledge. I don't know how to find and what is ph balance, unscented , fragrance free or soap for sensitive skin as on internet every brand claims they are best. It will be better and useful to me if you suggest directly some soap/cream or any liquid soap name with brand which i can apply over sensitive areas.

What you’re experiencing is very common in summer and usually manageable with the right hygiene routine and skin care approach 👍 Since sensitive area skin reacts differently from normal body skin, choosing the correct products and routine matters more than using strong antiseptic soaps. A proper consultation can help identify whether this is simple irritation, sweat related dermatitis, or an early fungal issue and guide you with the safest products suited for your skin type.

Hello In summers, the groin area may get sweaty and moist. I advise You to maintain hygiene by bathing twice a day, using talcum powder in the area for sweat and to consult a doctor if you notice unusual redness, discharge, itching or any similar symptom. Hope this helps
Next Steps
Bathe daily, use talcum powder
