I'm currently on medication for anxiety and depression my depression symptoms has gone but anxiety is still there my doctor gave me 50mg sertaline intial dose but now he told me to increase it to 100mg am scared and worry why he told me to increase

Doctor usually starts a medication in lower doses so as to see the response , if he does not see the appropriate response he increases the dose of the medication and sertraline at 100 mg is a low dose and can be taken .

100mg sertaline is not a large dose. infact it is optimal dose. Some patients need 300mgs of sertaline. Don't worry and follow your psychiatrist.
