Hi Doctor, whenever i get any sexual thought my penis starts leaking some drops of liquid which i checked on internet given as precum. But i get precum within less then a minute of thinking. Is this is called premature ejaculation or that's something different thing ? Also after getting precum i try to divert my mind to avoid ejaculation as i read somewhere it leads to weakness, fertility loss etc. Also i try to avoid this because it gives some foul smell and make stain marks on underwear and paints. So is it safe to stop sexual arousal at precum level and divert mind to stop ejaculation ?

What you are describing â clear fluid leaking during sexual arousal â is pre-ejaculatory fluid (commonly called pre-cum), produced by glands in the urethra as a completely normal part of arousal. This is NOT premature ejaculation, which specifically means ejaculating too quickly during sexual activity. The concerns about it causing weakness or fertility loss are common myths and are not supported by medical evidence. Any foul smell is usually related to hygiene and is not a sign of a medical problem.

No treatment is needed as this is a normal physiological response. Maintain good hygiene. Please consult me directly on Practo if you have any other concerns.
