General Anxiety Disorder

Asked for Male, 19 Years

I have been diagnosed with anxiety with symptoms of depersonalizarion. I have been feeling pretty calm, comfortable and relaxed lately. But I still have all of my symptoms. I started effexor 150mg two weeks ago. But I remember being calm before that. Now it feels like I'm more calm and comfortable. Can you explain what is happening ? How do I know if this is the right medication?
