Venlafaxine is started at a low dose of 37.5mg and increased gradually depending upon tolerance and response. It can be given upto dosage of 225mg in anxiety.

Venlafaxine is a ideal medication for GAD.
What dose you need ? I will like share a prescription with you after a discussion with you. For GAD along with medication you also need regular exercise and Yoga. CBT is a ideal therapy for that.
